Arges Life Science. is a sister concern of U.S.-based Arges Biolab, in Boston, Massachusetts. Our cGMP manufacturing plant is in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It takes pride in being the specialty company based on the resources provided by Arges Biolab.

Every standard operating procedure, machine-qualification protocol, API synthesis, and formulation is conceptualized and tested by Arges Biolab before it is implemented at the Arges Life Science plant in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Arges is trying to be the first vertically integrated pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. We deal with both the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and the drug products. Vertical integration gives us control over the quality from start to finish. This approach always results in greater efficiency which is translated into patients benefit.

WTO TRIP The main driving force behind Arges Life Science. is the WTO (World Trade Organization) Doha declaration on TRIP (Trade Related Intellectual Property), which granted Bangladesh the right to produce and market patented products until 2016.

Arges Life Science represents the first Bangladeshi firm that has been able to take full advantage of TRIP provisions in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector given its unique pool of intellectual capital in the form of technical know-how for synthesizing complex molecules and designing new dosage forms (e.g., sustained release/multi-particulate, orally disintegrating tablets).
